You are here to solve a murder mystery.

The mansion is large - you cannot traverse it easily and many rooms are sealed off. Instead, each character has been given a map of the mansion's layout. Accessible rooms are highlighted - characters will be transported magically to each room upon selecting an accessible room.

Rooms that are colored green are accessible. All other rooms are not.

This is an exploradora, meaning that you will be exploring rooms to pick up clues and solve the mystery. You may also interact with NPCs in order to gain clues as well. Should clues be discovered, the map will be updated and all participants in this room will be able to see that clue. You may also interact with other player characters if you like - group up and chat as you please!

"Good day, my friend. . . if only I could say it was such. For something like this to happen during their vacation - dreadful! Just where will the nation be without our beloved KING and QUEEN . . . !?"

He seems pretty distraught. ]

Do they have any heirs of age?

[ "Only THE PRINCE - their one and only child. Oh, the poor boy - what will happen to him now that they're gone? He isn't even of age to rule!" ]

[looks around to tell what sort of furniture is in this room.

Also doesn't rule out a puppet government, but you know. Interesting, why isn't her clothes here.]

Why aren't the queen's clothes here?

[ "Ah, you see - there was a change in plans. THE QUEEN felt ill, having to ascend so many flights of stairs - so she requested to be moved." ]

What was she sick with, in your estimation, when did she begin to feel that way, and where were her belongings moved to?

[ "Just a little before supper, I suppose? It wasn't severe, it seemed like - at the time, it seemed more that she was afraid of heights and so wanted an excuse not to be so high up in the building."

There's a pause.

"They have moved to the second floor - the Master Bedroom. My own quarters, though - to be frank, by this point that room is much too large for me . . ."

With a shake of his head, and a sorrowful smile.

"Well, it was better suited for a regal pair like them, anyway." ]
