ANGEL GAME 1: GROUP A

[You enter the tent to find yourself in what appears to be a conference room in the sky. The walls and ceiling consist of a glass dome, outside of which a raging thunderstorm can be seen. If you approach the wall, you’ll find the room seems to be floating. Down below is a forest, but it’s raining so hard that it’s impossible to make out any details.

The inside of the room has only a large, circular table. In the center is open space, and around the outer edge are high-backed chairs. In front of each chair is a paper with a copy of the rules -- when everyone sits, the game will begin.

In Group A is: ginger, thyme, & licorice.]

[Looking up, sharply, at it:] Is it doing something?

[So not here for a cursed mirror that tricks people into being eaten by giving them moral questions.]

Nothing that I can tell. More like... I guess, I don't trust the person that's asking us to go into that mirror.

I don't either. What do they get out of any of this?

By the sound of it, they mean it to be educational for us.

I'd prefer not to learn than be poisoned, myself.

Right? If they want to teach teamwork or justice, there's soooo many more non-threatening ways to do it.

You can't teach ... things like that anyway. If people don't want to absorb it, they won't.

[She pulls her gloves up higher on her wrists, a tic.]

Feels like a test. If they didn't want me, they shouldn't have brought me here. My brother would be better at what they want.

If they're having to test us, then I don't know if they even knew who they were picking up to bring here.
