[Whether willing or just, there comes a magical shove to force you and someone else through the door leading down into the earth.]

[The passageway is cold, but at least it's well lit. Albeit with flames of blue fire.]

[It goes down, down, down, until you reach the first part....]

[Loki will be striding alongside Felix, but maybe not setting the pace since thawing pains. But will not let go either, and won't let himself stop.]

[ Felix is simply overjoyed just to see the exit on the horizon and since the ice seems less threatening, he sees no need to rush Loki either ]

It cannot- hurt. I think- she is trying to make us prove something- to prove the demon wrong. And- I have a wager with her- that may give us information to help- once we have won.

[The ice is melting away from the crack, opening up more and more as they approach together.]

[The windigos above are crying out, the wind getting loud, but lacking the force of before.]

I wonder how we make it bigger.

Maybe we need to hug.

[Loki gives a rueful chuckle but doesn't seem opposed to it, by the way he's opening his arms.]

Do be careful. There is no part of me that does not hurt, but pressure will make the pain worse.

[ow but he won't wince too much]

[So that hug business.]

[Loki is now feeling a lot warmer. Which, ow because of nerve damage, but at least now the nerve damage isn't getting worse. He's even shivering properly now.]

[They can even see orange and red energy building around them...]

[Much like when Solar uses magic on things.]

[Though there's more on Felix than Loki at the moment.]

[And the hole is getting a lot bigger, a lot faster.]

Oh, I recognize this. Maybe we can use it against the ice.

[Loki will reach out to try to feel the magic energy, even though he knows he can't like he would normally.]

Th-there you are, S-solar.

[And louder, to Felix as he moves to the hole.]

R-remind me t-to tell you o-of Banner and h-his "O-other Guy" once we a-are safe.

[He cocks his head.] B-bring the power t-to the ice?

[ Felix is trying to recall what Solar taught him about using math to control magic and focusing intently on the exit ]

Yeah! Let's go for that.

Banner?

[There is certainly energy there. The spark isn't too powerful for Loki yet, but it seems to be slowly building up over time.]

[Felix, along with Fatalis, on the other hand, can feel quite the inferno going at this point. And it's more obvious to him that this magic? Is different from what Solar taught him.]

[This isn't a magic to 'shape' or 'use.' It feels more akin to a bomb that is definitely going to go off. It's just a matter of where it's directed at.]

[Loki's experience with magic is more intuitive, so he'll be holding out the hand that isn't holding Felix's towards the exit and mentally willing the glow to follow it.]

A f-friend o-of my brother's a-and h-hero of M-midgard.

A hero, huh? I'll look forward to hearing about him.

[ While Felix isn't as familiar with his magic without use of his sword, Fatalis has no such hangups. ]

... you sure. We've never tried that before.

Okay. I think I have an idea.

[ Felix takes a deep breath and mimics Loki's action, letting Fatalis guide the spell, even as Felix remains mostly in control. ]

[The energy hesitates as Loki acts. It's not until Felix/Fatalis joins in on the action that the energy starts to surge, and gather around them, banishing away the cold entirely.]

[The energy shoots forward with fire and gold and orange, blasting away the ice from the exit and the area around them, the windigos above crying out, and vanishing with the surge of bright light.]

[Patches of ice remain here and there in the cave.]

[But otherwise....everything is clear. Everything is calm.]

[Their exit is open.]
