[Loki comes through a minute later, fists and teeth clenched and trying not to collapse. He's also breathing deeply like he's panicking or trying to calm himself down.]

[ Does not seem to particularly care as he presses a hand to his head and tries to calm down his own breathing. ]

[bestbrotherever]

[And getting himself under control. Reminding himself that he's been through worse and Thanos nobody is ready to give him another dose. He might be muttering reaffirmations of such to himself, too.]

[Finally he opens his eyes and gives a weak laugh.] Well. I am still alive. I assume you are as well?

[malignstar]

As if that is truly your concern. Now, why did you need me to enter here?

Quite a change in response. You are the one Felix talks to, then?

I did not need you to enter. I believe I could have completed this on my own. But as I discussed with Felix, I think we are being encouraged to abandon each other, and so choosing to cooperate despite difficulty will prove something about our nature to the demon who has replaced Solar.

[malignstar]

How astute. It is not as though he bothers to make it anything other than obvious.

[ There is a pause, as if he's thinking about something but he says nothing.

Though he raises a brow at that explanation. ]

So your concern is for her.

Of course. That is why I am participating in this trial.

[ Folds his arms, seeming not entirely convinced but at least not accusatory ]

I see. So what is it about this panel again? We need to keep it green?

[bestbrotherever]

[Loki shakes his head.]

It turns red once you cross it and start up the stairs. I believe it is like the portal, when it is green, one may cross freely, but it turns red once they have passed. The rhyme indicates that there may be a way for the one at the top of the stairs to help the other.

[malignstar]

Perhaps you should stand on the green and I will see what happens when ascend the stairs.

[bestbrotherever]

I would not recommend it. The panel began flashing when I stood on it for too long. We may get treated to another... shock.

[malignstar]

Very well then. I will check the stairs.

[bestbrotherever]

I will wait here then.

[He says as he takes a spot just behind the green panel.]

[malignstar]

[ Going to take those stairs then and check out what's up there ]

[As Fatalis steps up the stairs, the panel turns red.]

[He can climb up the stairs and he can see a sea of black glass in front of him with five pedestals scattered throughout. He can also see the exit. There are another set of stairs over by it that lead up from the glass building.]

Another staircase?

[ Well, going to check that next staircase then. ]

[Indeed another stair case.]

[It's also covered by see through glass, blocking off the person from the top from getting inside the glass building.]

[Calling up]

So. Another staircase appears, then? This is a bit more complicated than I originally thought.

[malignstar]

It seems to lead into the building but I cannot enter it from here. It is blocked by glass.

[bestbrotherever]

And you cannot reach the exit from where you are?

Hm. I would guess I am supposed to do something. But what can I do that would be unlikely to harm us...

Do you wish to risk having me follow you up?

[malignstar]

I can reach it. But as you said, we are trying to prove something to that Solar Flare.

I unfortunately owe her something of a favor.

[bestbrotherever]

I suspect many of us feel an obligation to her for our own reasons, thus why we are here. And the more who make it to the end, the better our chances of helping her come back from the state she is in.

What happens when you stand near the exit?
