Bodyswap at the House on the Hill: Session 2
You awaken slowly, laying in the middle of a cold, hard stone floor … and realise that you have absolutely no idea where you are, or what in all the hells is wrong with your body.
Maybe you're suddenly bigger than you remember, or smaller. Maybe you've got more limbs! Less limbs! Sharper teeth? Weird, unfamiliar powers and magic to tap into, or perhaps no powers at all? Without a mirror, it's very difficult to tell exactly what — or perhaps, who? — you look like … but maybe whoever else is around you could help you figure that out.

MINGLE
There's a locked door to the East. No matter what you do, you cannot get it open.
Re: MINGLE

[Bury his face in his one hand.]
Re: MINGLE
[She looks at her hands, then down at her body, her face rapidly clouding over with confusion and rage.]
What is the meaning of this?!

CHASM
Something chitters softly in the darkness way, way up above.
There's one door to the West side, and one to the East.
Anyone attempting to cross needs to roll 1D10.
Re: CHASM
[Not going to cross yet, looking up, trying to spot what's up there.]

[And looking at the bridge and glancing up at the noise.] What are those creatures that dwell in the heights of caves? Bats? Perhaps not a physical threat, but if they swarm while one is on that pathetic excuse for a bridge...
[She kneels down by the bridge and tests its strength with a hand.]

BASEMENT LANDING
There's not much here except … coal. Piles upon piles upon piles of coal, the floor caked in a thick coating of ash and soot. It's spectacularly filthy.
There are doors to the North, South, and West, and … a set of closed elevator doors? to the East.

THE STORE ROOM
The first person through the door catches a glimpse of their reflection idly eating a sporkful of funfetti sprinkle cake. Blink. What? No, it's just your reflection, reflecting you as it should.
The only door is the one you came through.

Re: THE STORE ROOM
[She catches note of her reflection eating and frowns when the unexpected image changes to a normal reflection after a blink.]
What an odd illusion.

Re: THE STORE ROOM
THE OFFICE
You'll also find a coffee mug filled with frigidly cold black coffee … and another one, almost empty. And another one, half full. And another one; two big gulps would've finished it off. A mostly full bag of gummy bears. A black robe flung over the back of the spinny office chair, with a pair of rubber gloves hanging out of the pocket.
Against one wall is a counter with a kettle, a pot of coffee grounds and a sink. Beneath the counter is a fridge.
The only door is to the North.
Re: THE OFFICE

CAVERNOUS STAIRCASE
There are two exits: East down the stairs, or West at the top of the stairs.

Looks like you'll be on safety detail again, Felix. I wouldn't doubt there's places to slip down these stairs.

UNDERGROUND LAKE
If you came down the stairs, you're standing safe and dry on the rocky shore. Well. Mostly safe. Some of the aforementioned bridge debris is scattered around, still smouldering.
